Cronidur 30 - exclusive high-performance steel: this material is extremely resistant to corrosion and exhibits high levels of resilience. FRIODUR denotes knives which have been through a special ice-hardening process, making them a cut above in terms of quality. They possess outstanding properties when it comes to edge retention, corrosion resistance and flexibility.
The high-performance special steel known as Cronidur 30 is particularly hard and strong, meaning that a tiny angle of 25° (12.5° each side) can be created. The extremely acute angle makes for a supreme initial performance and even more chopping fun. The continuous edge means that you can use the entire length of the blade to cut, right up to the bolster, and the knife glides effortlessly through your food.
The bolster is the point where the handle meets the blade. Not only does it give your hand protection and ensure safety, but the bolster also makes sure that weight is evenly distributed.
