In most kitchens the chef’s knife is one of the most important tools for preparing delicious meals. But not everyone likes this, generally speaking, large knife. Which is why the ZWILLING Gourmet series offers the Compact chef’s knife with a blade length of only 140 mm. With its compact form, it is used for cutting, cleaving, chopping and hacking meat, fish, vegetables and herbs.
The 140 mm long FRIODUR blade is ice-hardened, giving the knife a high edge-holding ability in addition to making it corrosion-resistant and flexible. Its outstanding material properties are the result of the ZWILLING special formula’s perfectly-balanced chrome and carbon ratio. The handle, which is made of high-quality plastic in a classic three-rivet design, is simply to clean and, together with the full tang blade of the knife, ensures a pleasant balance that allows rapid and precise cutting.
